Responsible end use of the organic scraps our team processes is an important part of our story. AltRoot’s compost site was built to produce compost for application onto agricultural land to help regenerate the soil and enhance soil organic carbon (SOC) levels.
Healthy soil = healthy food = healthy people and planet.
We believe in restoring our environment for future generations to enjoy. And for the future farmers to have healthy soils to grow crops in.
Many of AltRoot’s founders and employees are farmers and take great care in ensuring the organic waste is handled with care, quality and while complying with the highest applicable standards.
We are proud to be able to show the true traceability of carbon cycling with responsible end use. The model AltRoot has constructed is a key element in the bio-circular economy for years to come.
